A Bit About Me
I have been helping athletes develop for a very long time. In 1993, I began training young athletes on the elite pathway. This work culminated with young athletes and coaches during the 1996 Summer Olympics. 1998, I began traveling worldwide, working with athletes and coaches at the World Cup and other Olympic cities. Through these experiences, I started a non-profit called Sports Serve to develop leadership in and through the vehicle of sport. I also include leadership development methodology in my personal performance soccer coaching.
Soccer has been a sport since I was a child growing up overseas. I played college soccer and later semi-professionally. I began coaching the game because I wanted to give back. In my experience as a coach and as the parent of a Division I player, I realized that my player was at risk, and I needed to train them one-on-one. Through this experience, I began to help other players on the elite soccer pathway. I was able to help them, and I want to help you—the next Level Soccer Academy is dedicated to this mission.

I worked to build community sports, health, and leadership development initiatives for the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympics, the 1998 World Cup in France, the 2000 Sydney Summer Olympics, the 2002 World Cup of Soccer in Japan/Korea, the 2004 Athens Summer Olympics, the 2006 World Cup of Soccer in Germany, the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics, and the 2010 World Cup of Soccer in South Africa.
I founded the non-profit Sports Serve because sports is a vehicle for leadership development for coaches, athletes, and families. Through leadership and the vehicle of sport, whole communities can be transformed.
Founded a personal soccer training and performance coaching business, Next Level Soccer Academy, to prepare and equip players for the next level. Personal on-site training and performance coaching are offered in Atlanta, where online personal training sessions are designed for individual players to take their game to the next level.
